The Bisons made it through late-stage adversity to see out a perfect weekend.
Skating to a comfortable 2-0 lead over an undermanned Red Deer Vipers squad, the Okotoks Carstar Bisons (22-2-0) suddenly had a lot of work to do preserve the two points with a double-minor along with a full length 5-on-3 penalty kill in the final four minutes needed to preserve a 3-0 triumph on Sunday at the Murray Arena.
