Flyers 4, Copperheads 3 (overtime)

It's going the distance.

Tied at three after regulation time, the Flyers headed to overtime with the Copperheads with no room for error.

Sean Burns played hero 3:08 into sudden death, knotting the series at two games apiece and setting the stage for a winner-take-all Game 5 on Wednesday in Coaldale.

Jake Snashall had a goal and two assists, Layne Sniher scored and added a helper and Michael McTighe rounded out the scoring for the hosts.

Brandyn Howg and Ethan Kiemen scored and had an assist apiece while Ty Abbott also found the net for Coaldale.

Davyn LaRocke made 33 saves to pick up the win for High River.

Game 5 goes Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Wheatland Kings 6, Cubs 4

The Wheatland Kings will not go silently.

Facing elimination, the Wheatland Kings didn't just score their first goal of the series, they scored a half-dozen.

Garret Vander Ploeg, Jayden Hendricks and Kobe Gosling all scored once and added an assist as the Wheatland Kings staved off elimination with a massive road win.

Jaycob Masciangelo and Ryan Leeper also scored as Strathmore, which earned a home game on Tuesday for Game 4.

Noah Irvine scored and set up another goal for the Cubs.

Desmond Crawford, Mason Fischer and Cooper Hilworth also lit the lamp for Medicine Hat.

Brett Willan booted out 32 shots for the win.

The Wranglers took care of business on home ice — as usual.

Caileb Berge scored a pair of goals at home for Sylvan Lake which hasn't suffered a loss in regulation time at the Nexsource Centre since Nov. 30, a span of 12 games.

Braidon Westin and Taite Opdendries also found the back of the net for Sylvan Lake.

Landon Siegle had a goal and two helpers to fire the Rocky offence while Brett McNutt also scored for the Rams.
