Flyers 5, Copperheads 2

The Flyers are back in it.

Layne Sniher scored one goal and set up three others as High River evened up its first-round series with Coaldale.

The Flyers broke open a 2-2 deadlock with three unanswered goals in the final frame as Joshua Fleck, Michael McTighe and Sniher sent the High River fans home happy.

Jake Snashall and Brennan McPherson also scored for the Flyers, who outshot the visitors 31-28.

Goaltender Davyn LaRocke made 29 saves and was named the game's first star.

Mason Sande scored both goals for the Copperheads.

Apparently the Rams weren't just happy to qualify for the post-season.

Landon Siegle potted a pair of goals as part of a four-point effort as expansion Rocky tied up its first-round playoff series against Sylvan Lake.

Brett McNutt also scored twice while Bradley Hellofs, Logan Neal and Brandt Seland also found the back of the net.

Wade Lightburn scored twice while Beaudon Rider and Dayton Playford also dented the twine for the visitors.

Logan Leroux has boarded up the net in the post-season.

The Cubs 'tender made 21 saves for the shutout and has now stopped all 47 shots he's faced in the series.

Mason Fischer scored a pair of goals and Chandler Aleman had a trio of assists for Medicine Hat.

Trevor Moore, Austin Klimosko, Cooper Hilworth and Spencer Chapman rounded out the scoring for the Cubs.
