Colts 5, Lightning 0

Indiana Kelly put in a superhuman in Game 1 of the playoffs.

The Lightning goaltender made 72 saves in a 5-0 loss to the Colts.

Mitchell Visser scored as Mountainview led just 1-0 after the first period despite holding a 32-5 advantage on the shot clock.

Caden Switzer potted a pair of goals while Travis Gerrard and Paton Rothenbusch scored and added an assist apiece.

Wranglers 6, Rams 3

The Wranglers were one of the top teams in the HJHL on home ice during the regular season.

It was no different in the playoff opener.

Beaudon Rider scored a pair of goals for Sylvan Lake, which hasn't lost in regulation time at the Nexsource Centre since Nov. 30, a span of 11 games.

Rider, Austin Kalev and Taite Opdendries lit the lamp as the Wranglers took a 3-2 lead into the final frame.

Brett Westin also scored for the hosts.
