At least where Landon Siegle was concerned.
Siegle potted a pair of goals as the Rams dumped the Lightning.
Ryan Chambers, Brayden McLaughlin and Brett McNutt also found the net for the Rams, who are off until after the HJHL All-Star break when they'll host Sylvan Lake next Friday.
Copperheads 5, Flyers 1
It was still Happy New Year's.
Jason Creighton potted a pair of goals as the Copperheads continued their winning ways.
James Halverson also found the net and had a trio of assists.
Layne Sniher replied for the Flyers.
Mason Sande and Tyler Strath also found the net for the Copperheads, who have won six of their past seven games.
