Flyers 8, Rams 6

The Rams were 20 miniutes away from a win.

But the Flyers busted out with four goals in the final frame to escape with the win.

Michael McTighe tied it up with less than eight minutes to play and finished off the hat trick into an empty net.

Layne Sniher scored twice and added a pair of helpers while Lucas Ouellette, Connor Taylor and Josh Russo also found the back of the net.

Ryan Chambers had a goal and three assists while Braydon McLaughlin scored and had a pair of helpers for the Rams.

Brett McNutt, Tyler Freeman, Kalen Stanley Strawberry and Kehler Bagstad rounded out the scoring for Rocky.

Lakers 3, Wheatland Kings 1

The Lakers were down 1-0 late in the second period.

And the Clayton Billyard took matters into his own hands.

Billyard scored the equalizer and the potted the game-winner early in the third period for the Lakers.

Aaron Areshenko also scored for Lomond while Kyle Felck provided the offence for Strathmore.

Vipers 5, Colts 4

Matias Letwin scored 2:33 into overtime as the Vipers edged the Colts.

Austin Gallant, Jace Paarup, Keaton Sawicki and Letwin all had a goal and an assist in the victory.

Jacksyn Goodall also found the net for Red Deer.

Alan Klinck potted a pair and added two assists while Damian Vickers and Travis Gerrard replied for the Colts.
