Thunder head coach Derek Stamp liked what he saw from his squad, especially in the final frame.

"We talked in the second intermission about how the team with the better details was going to be successful and we needed to make a statement about our game.
"The guys came out and played a great third (period). We really controlled the game both offensively and defensively."
After being outshot 24-22 through two periods, the Thunder held a 17-6 advantage over the final 20 minutes and scored the only two goals of the period.
Justin Fedoruk kicked out 29 pucks for the win.
Taite Opdendries replied for the Wranglers.
