Player of the Month

Jayden Bexte, Coaldale Copperheads — The Vauxhall product has been on a tear since the drop of the puck. Bexte has hit the scoresheet in 11 of the Snakes' dozen contests, with nine of them being multi-point affairs. The 20-year-old leads the HJHL with eight goals and 27 points, putting him on pace to obliterate last season's career-best 37-point campaign.

Goaltender of the Month

Devin Reagan, Okotoks Bisons — Heading into the 2019-20 season, many pundits predicted Reagan would be the top goaltender in the HJHL (again). And (again) he has not disappointed. The third-year 'tender has backstopped the unbeaten Bisons with numbers that have to be intimidating for opposing shooters: a 1.64 goals-against average and .945 save percentage — both career highs — and an 11-0-0 record.

Rookie of the Month

Dean Olenyk, Cochrane Generals — He might only be 5-foot-8 and 145 pounds, but Olenyk has had a big impact in his first HJHL season. The 18-year-old leads the Generals with seven goals and 16 points in 12 games, helping Cochrane to an 8-4-1 start to the season.
