Three Stars
1. Dean Olenyk, Cochrane Generals — The 18-year-old product lit the lamp in all three games and piled up seven points as the Generals went 2-0-1. Olenyk started off with two goals and an assist in a 7-1 win over the Lomond Lakers, scored once in a 3-2 overtime setback to the Okotoks Bisons and then capped it off with a hat trick in an 8-0 shutout of the Rocky Rams.
2. Mason Fischer, Medicine Hat Cubs — The Medicine Hat product helped the Cubs go 2-0-0 over the weekend with a pair of big outings. Fischer scored a hat trick and added an assist in a 5-3 victory over the Sylvan Lake Wranglers and then had two goals and an assist in an 8-0 win over the Ponoka Stampeders.
3. Tyler Petrie, Airdrie Techmation Thunder — Petrie scored twice, added an assist and also found the back of the net in the shootout as the Thunder edged the Mountainview Colts 5-4. He also had a goal and a pair of helpers as the Thunder beat the Stettler Lightning 11-1.
