DIDSBURY – The Airdrie Thunder offence returned on Saturday night as they evened up their best-of-seven North Division Final series with the Mountainview Colts at two-games apiece, taking a 5-1 road victory in Game 4.
Marshal Quartly scored the lone goal of the first period, giving the Colts a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes, but it would be all Thunder after that.
Brett Campbell and Tristan Paquette tallied in the second period, while Luke Jensen, Jordan McConnell and Barrett Sheen added to the lead in the final frame.
Jackson Little turned aside all but one of the 29 shots he faced in the Airdrie crease.
Ethan Woodward was busy between the pipes for the Colts, facing 52 shots on the night, stopping 47 of them.
