SYLVAN LAKE – Justin Anderson stopped all 28 shots he faced as the Red Deer Viper skated to a 5-0 win over the Mountainview Colts in Game 1 of their best-of-seven North Division semifinal series.
Braydn Adams finished with a goal and assist, while Jacksyn Goodall, Connor Sullivan, Tristyn Zarubiak and Aidan Wilson each added a single for the Vipers.
Ethan Woodward made 28 saves in the loss between the pipes for the Colts.
The series now shifts to Didsbury for Game 2 on Friday night. Puck drop from the Didsbury Recreation Complex is slated for 8:00pm.
