Airdrie has joined Cochrane on the active double-digit win streak list, while Okotoks to hold down second place in the South.

Cochrane Generals (5) – Strathmore Wheatland Kings (3)

COCHRANE – The Cochrane Generals made it 11-straight victories as Chris Sambrook and Scott Shugg each found the back of the net twice in a 5-3 win over the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

Taylor Girard rounded out the scoring for Cochrane (23-7-2), while Knute Loe turned aside 23 shots between the pipes.

Isaac Benoit, Garret Vander Ploeg and Cole Busslinger provided the offence for Strathmore (15-15-3), each scoring once.

Brett Willan made 38 saves in the loss.

Okotoks Bisons (5) – Lomond Lakers (2)

OKOTOKS – A two-goal, one-assist performance off the stick of Evan Woods propelled the Okotoks Bisons to a 5-2 victory over the Lomond Lakers.

Devyn Stewart also had himself a two-goal outing for the Bisons (24-7-3), while Jackson Vyse opened the scoring just 2:56 into the contest.

Gavin Burns and Clayton Billyard responded for Lomond (6-27-0), which got 42 saves out of goaltender Theo Paskuski.

Nicholas Ewanchuk improved to 5-0-0 in the Okotoks crease this season, making 21 saves on the night.

Airdrie Thunder (8) – Mountainview Colts (4)

AIRDRIE – Cooper Page found the back of the net twice as the Airdrie Thunder made it 10 straight victories with an 8-4 win over the Mountainview Colts.

Tristan Paquette and Tyler Petrie each finished with a goal and two assists, while Rylan Plante-Crough, Zachary Dubois, Jordan McConnell and Jacob MacDonald each added singles.

Jackson Little stopped 29 shots in the Airdrie (32-2-0) crease, recording win number 16 on the season in the process.

The Colts (20-12-2) got a one-goal, two-assist performance out of Josh Gette, while Travis Gerrard, Alan Klinck and Wyatt Gelinas each added a single.

Blackfalds Wranglers (7) – Three Hills Thrashers (3)

THREE HILLS – Taite Opdendries scored twice and setup another as the Blackfalds Wranglers skated to a 7-3 win over the Three Hills Thrashers.

Austin Kalev chipped in with a goal and assist for the Wranglers (10-17-6), while Zachary Zaparniuk, Austin Lightning, Brett Westin and Kyle Imesch each added a single.

Jared Elliot recorded the victory between the pipes, stopping 22 shots in the process.

Zachary Hall, Kyle Gray and Kevin Schrock each replied for the Thrashers (1-30-1).
