For the third time this season, High River Flyers goaltender Chantz Vinck has been named the Heritage Junior Hockey League Player of the Week.
Vinck, 21, takes the honours for the week ending on December 2, after backstopping his Flyers to a 2-1 overtime win over the Cochrane Generals on Saturday evening.
The Lampman, Sask. product stopped 56-of-57 shots faced in the game, marking the third highest total of his season.
Vinck is currently 7-11-0 on the season with a 3.45 goals-against average, a .928 save-percentage and one shutout. His 877 shots against and 814 saves are first among all goaltenders this season.
