Jordan McConnell of the Airdrie Thunder has been named the Heritage Junior Hockey League Player of the Week for the week ending on November 25, 2018.
McConnell, 20, led all skaters this past week with five goals and five assists for 10 points in just two games.
The Airdrie, Alta. product scored twice and setup two more in a win over Medicine Hat on Friday, then followed that up with a three-goal, three-assist performance in a win over Cochrane on Saturday.
McConnell currently leads the HJHL in goals (35), assists (43) and points (78) in just 19 games for a 4.10 points per-game average.
