Levi Anderson of the Coaldale Copperheads has been named the Heritage Junior Hockey League Player of the Week for the week ending on October 14, 2018.
Anderson, 20, recorded eight points (5-3-8) in three games this past week, helping his team win all three games.
The Pincher Creek, Alta. product scored twice and setup one other in a win over Lomond last Monday and followed that up by scoring the game-winner and adding an assist in a win over Okotoks on Friday.
The 5-foot-11 defenceman closed out the week by again scoring the game winner and finishing with two goals total and one assist in a win over Ponoka on Saturday.
Anderson has tallied 16 points (9-7-16) in nine games so far this season.
