Forwards Jordan McConnell and Rylan Plante-Crough of the Airdrie Thunder and goaltender Devin Reagan of the Okotoks Bisons have been named the Heritage Junior Hockey League’s Three Stars for the month of September.

First Star: Jordan McConnell, F, Airdrie Thunder

McConnell, 20, led all HJHL skaters during the month of September with 10 goals and was tied for the league-lead in points at 19 (19-9-19). He recorded multi-point games in all four games he played, including a four-goal, eight-point outing followed by a three-goal, three-assist performance.

Second Star: Rylan Plante-Crough, F, Airdrie Thunder

Plante-Crough, 20, led all HJHL skaters during the month of September with 11 assists and is tied with teammate McConnell with 19 points (8-11-19). He has registered at least three points in all four games he has played, including a pair of six-point games and two hat tricks.

Third Star: Devin Reagan, G, Okotoks Bisons

Reagan, 19, backstopped the Bisons to a 4-0-0 record, with a 1.47 goals-against average, a .950 save-percentage and one shutout during the month of September. After a 28-save win and a 22-save shutout on opening weekend, he followed that up with a 31-save victory and a 32-save victory the following week.
