Rylan Plante-Crough of the Airdrie Thunder has been named the Heritage Junior Hockey League Player o the Week for the week ending on September 30, 2018.
Plante-Crough, 20, registered seven points (4-3-7) in two games this past weekend, helping the Thunder remain unbeaten on the season with a 4-0-0 record.
The Airdrie, Alta. product had a goal and two assists in a win over the Wranglers on Friday evening and then followed that up with a three-goal, one-assist performance in a win over the High River Flyers the next evening.
The 6-foot, 200-pounder currently has 19 points (8-11-19) in four games this season.
Plante-Crough is the second straight Thunder player to be named the HJHL Player of the Week, following teammate Jordan McConnell last week.
