The Three Hills Thrashers announced today the coaching staff for the 2018 – 2019 Season.
Wayne Sharp will be taking on the role of Head Coach. Wayne was previously an Assistant Coach with the Thrashers and has an extensive coaching background with Kneehill Minor Hockey. The work he has done developing young players will serve him well this season. He is a player’s coach and is excited to have the opportunity to lead the team with the support of the organization.
Trevor Bauer will be behind the bench for his first year as an Assistant Coach with the Thrashers. Trevor played in the WHL for two seasons with the Prince George Cougars and the Everett Silvertips. He will bring energy and enthusiasm to the defensive core this season.
Mike Winther will round out the bench staff with his first season in the HJHL coaching ranks. Mike played for five seasons in the WHL, and last season with the Innisfail Eagles. Mike was drafted 54th overall by the Dallas Stars in 2012. His offensive skills and passion for teaching younger players will be a definite asset.
The organization is excited to have these three join the team!
